LCT Aims to Offer:
1. Heart-Based Coaching services to parents, educators, students, and local community stakeholders.
2. Empowerment using Heart-Based Coaching (HBC) skills.
3. Call all Life Coaches to collaborate and serve families and educational and local communities.
4. Provide Heart-Based Life Coaches to schools and other Local, national, and international regional centers.
5. Offer support to coaches through continuing professional development.

With a rich history of Limitbusters Coaching & Training, Inc. It has been Busting Limits since 1997.

• LCT has been serving the local community in Los Angeles County, California, and other areas in the USA and internationally. 
 • Our journey includes significant milestones such as the pilot program of Heart-Based Coaching (HBC) in 2010 in Sitges Barcelona for Teachers, Parents, and Local Professionals. 
 • In 2017, LCT launched the Heart-Based Coaching Program for the Master of Arts in Education at Pepperdine University, Westlake Village, California. 
 • In 2021, LCT expanded to establish the pilot program for HBC online classes, and the first Certified Heart-Based Coaches (CHBC) graduated on July 31, 2022.
 • In 2024, LCT launched Heart-Based Coaching (HBC)to all sectors in the Philippines, Public HBC online class in the country, the showbiz industry in Marikina, Manila, the In-Person workshop in Ivisan, Capiz that was attended by the parents, educators, college students, entrepreneurs, and local government officials. Carlyne Kohner, the co-founder of LCT taught High School students Values Education in Viusayas. In the class, she was integrating teaching and Heart-Based Coaching (HBC) skills; she was observed by the Adminsitrators and High School Teachers. She also trained Teachers at Leodegario D. Deocampo Sr. National High School (LDSNHS) Panitan, Capiz, Region V1, Panay Island on January 31, 2024.

LCT has been empowering clients since 1997, and the online certification classes have been available since 2021. Heart-Based Coaching (HBC) graduates are called Certified Heart-Based Coaches (CHBC) in the Life Coaching Profession. The HBC program follows the tenets of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the guild of the Coaching Profession worldwide.

LCT believes the following:

a. Students at schools benefit from the services of Heart-Based Coaches who can coach students on their daily activities or obstacles in life, aspirations, dreams, life purpose, and more.

b. Teachers benefit from learning Coaching skills. They can integrate these skills when teaching, interacting, empowering, communicating, and creating interpersonal relationships with their students. Science has shown that when adults hear, listen, and support their students, they are more likely to succeed academically and in life.

c. Parents become well-informed and effective guardians to their children if they know how to love them through acceptance, empowerment, self-management, and other Coaching skills.

d. Local Stakeholders' understanding of in-depth learning and Coaching skills can allow them to become better neighbors, parents, teachers, leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in their neighborhoods. Each person's energy is contagious, making them active, positive, and alive community members. The role of local stakeholders is crucial in the success and growth of families, schools, and members of their area making them an integral part of the community's development.

LCT Facilitators are a distinguished group, each holding certifications from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as Master Certified Coaches (MCC) and Professional Certioifed Coaches (PCC) and being Credentialed Co-active Coaches. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Heart-Based Coaching (HBC) Program, not just as Keynote Speakers, Writers, Parents, and Educators, but also as Trainers, Mentors, and Observers in other Coaching classes. Their expertise is a testament to the quality of the HBC program.

LCT Founders, Eric and Carlyne Kohner, are not just a husband and wife team, but also a living testament to the power of Heart-Based Coaching. Eric, a pioneer in the Coaching movement, and Carlyne, with education in her blood, have dedicated their lives to this cause. Their personal commitment and their daughter's success as a 2021 graduate of the HBC program are proof of its effectiveness. They are the Heart-Based Coaching family, living and breathing its principles 24/7.

Carlyne firmly believes that our children are the foundation of society as the future generation. To thrive, the villagers (people in the community) must support their growth. A book by Hillary Clinton stated that it takes a village to raise a child, and according to the theory of Albert Bandura, a child learns through observing, modeling, and imitating the behaviors, attitudes, and emotional reactions of adults and others. Social learning theory considers how environmental and cognitive factors influence human learning and behavior. For Carlyne, the fusion of this theory is not just an approach, it's the Heart-Based Approach, a crucial tool for our children's development.

She experienced those two concepts growing up. The child's exploration starts at home (H), at school (S), and then in the community (C). These three elements of HSC, which stands for Home, School, and Community, must be interconnected, not disconnected. This model forms the basis of the Heart-Based Coaching Program, ensuring a holistic approach to the development of the children.

Carlyne's fusion of her culture, parenting, coaching, education, and community service led to a Heart-Based Coaching Program. To navigate HSC, parents, teachers, and stakeholders must empower and respect each child. It has to have an element of the following:
 • How do we communicate with each child - empowerment words?
 • How do we respect their characteristics, culture - personality style, morals and values?
 • How do we treat them as human beings - a celebration of failures and successes?

It will only take one person to make or break a child's heart and aspirations in life. The role of the parents, teachers, and local leaders are to facilitate, coach, and listen to them. Our notion is that these little ones will be our future leaders and members of society: the shapers and movers of the next generation and our world, planet Earth.

Our comprehensive professional development plan ensures that all faculty members, who are also facilitators and trainers, regularly attend and actively participate in further education workshops. This commitment to ongoing learning is a testament to our dedication to continuous improvement. 
1. Before the class, our faculty members engage in group calls every week. These calls serve as a platform for them to discuss and share insights on facilitation and technology, fostering a collaborative learning environment within the Team. Another weekly group call is held with different strategists and team players to navigate the learning journey of HBC programs.

3. Describe how the Professional Development provided to mentor coaches encompasses a coaching approach to mentor coaching and is congruent with DEIR(Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) guidelines established by the International Coaching Organization.
 
 • All Mentor Coaches are Heart-Based Coaches, ICF-credentialed, and Co-active Certified. 
 • Our Mentor Coaches, who are Heart-Based Coaches, ICF-credentialed, and Co-active Certified, are mindful of ICF values and the core competencies in the HBC community. They also deeply believe in collaboration, empowerment, and the DEIRAJ (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Representation, Access, and Justice) statement. This ensures that the Coaching approach is congruent with the DEI guidelines established by the International Coaching Organization, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
